Custom Side Table

Whew, custom work has been keeping me busy these days! Here is another before & after project for you to check out. I enjoy bringing custom pieces back to life. This vintage table had so much potential, such a cool shape.  However my client isn't a fan of black furniture, so ....

... we decided on a soft yellow color called Strawflower.  Such a fun color and it distressed great.  LOVE it!

I may just have to use this paint color again!

Custom Buffet : Before & After

A client of mine just recently graduated from college and is furnishing her new apartment. She found this antique buffet in her parents basement. {How lucky is she?!}  With a little work, it would be the perfect addition for her new place. I was seriously so excited to get my hands on this piece! 

She wanted it painted a seafoam green color {we decided on the color Jade}and heavily distressed. And how great is the new hardware that she found?!  They are mother-of-pearl knobs from Anthropologie.  L.O.V.E.  Here's how it turned out ...

I'm head-over-heels in love with this piece. I may just shed a tear when she comes to pick it up. :)

Custom Vintage Dresser

Here is another customer project for you to check out! 

A great client of mine dropped off this vintage dresser that she found at a rummage sale.While it had a lot of potential, it was in pretty rough shape.It's such a darling peice with awesome detailing - It's obvious why she snatched it up! 

So, I went to work on it ... After some heavy sanding, I painted, restained the wood top, added new casters and then distressed in all the right places!

A fun client of mine requested I refinish her two round end tables.

I painted them a creamy Ivory Silk color and then hand distressed.

They are just gorgeous!
